STRETCH EVERY DAY TO TAKE THE PAIN AWAY!
Some Great Stretching Tips!
1. Strech for at least ten minutes a day- You can stretch way more than that too. Regular stretching can improve you you balence, strength, and flexibilty.
2. Warm up your muscles before stretching- Try ten minutes of easy exercise like walking of yoga. Stretching cold muscles may result in an injury.
3. Hold a sustained strech for 15 to 30 seconds- Don't bounce when stretching. . It won't help you get anymore flexible if you don't hold the strech just because it hurts a little bit. To help keep you mind off the strech listen to music.
4. Only strech to the point of MILD discomfort- You are going to have some pain when you stretch. That is normal, but don't push your bady to far until you are ready. Once your muscles are comfortable, push a little more. If it hurts to much, you are pushing to hard.
5. Breath normally when stretching- Don't try to hold you breath or take sharp breathes. It won't take the discomfort away.
6. Stretch both sides!!!!!!!- Once you stretch your right leg, make sure to do your left. Do it the same everywhere you stretch. If you don't, you back could get messed up and one side of your body would be flezible and the other side won't.
7. Prevent boredom- Don't stretch the same way every day. Look up videos on new ways to stretch. I have so on my blog. And do certain stretches for different skills.
