Hey! Hope you are having a wonderful day!
I love to strech, but sometimes you don't know where your limits are or how much you can push you body. There are usally two different types of strechers. One who just keeps going and going and end up hurting themselve. And then there someone is afraid of pain and acts like they strech but really doesn't push themselves enough. You want to be the perfect medium. And the most important thing to do is STRECH EVERY DAY! Not twice a week not once a month, every day! You can even strch multiple times a day if you want. If you don't your mucules will just lose all of there flexiblity and you will get know where. One of the most important parts of being a good cheerleader is knowing how to strech so you can get better skills. Even if your not a flyer, streching helps with jumps and splits as well. So if you only learn one thing from this blog, let it be Strech every single day no matter what. Do it whenever you have time, even if its only for ten minutes. The best about of time to do it is for about 30 minutes or mire, but as long as you get in something you will stay flexible. You can strech at home, at practice, before you go to bed, when you wake up, or whenever you feel comfertable. And on't worry, YOU ARE NOT BORN FLEXIBLE! You can go on your own pace and make sure to set goals!
